Hostel Amigo is located in the centre of Cuauhtémoc, Hostel Amigo is in a great location and serves as an ideal base to explore the city. The hostel arranges tours to places of interest such as Basilica de Guadalupe, Pirámides de Teotihuacan and the more unusual but traditional Mexican Lucha Libre wrestling.
The staff are helpful, fluent in English and eager to help you plan out your trip. As other guests will be on the tours too it is easy to settle in and make some new friends.
Dormitories of various sizes are available, as well as the slightly more expensive private double rooms. The beds are comfortable and considerably larger than you will find in other hostels. All rooms offer en suite bathroom and shower facilities, that are shared depending on your room size. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hostel free of charge.
There is also a large chill out room complete with games upstairs. A bar that proves to be popular but not over bearing is a great choice as the prices are a lot cheaper than outside of the hostel.
With a sister hostel a few minutes away that organises large party nights you will not run out of things to do at Hostel Amigo! But don't take our word for it, check out their video here.
