Hotel de Cortés

Boutique Hotel de Cortés is one of Mexico City's most remarkable establishments. One of the first hotels to be built in the region, Hotel de Cortes is a fine example of Mexican baroque which probably dates to the beginning of the 17th century. Although an old building, there is nothing dilapidated about this splendid hotel, with the historic features blending perfectly with its modern luxury. The hotel also boasts an enviable location right next to Alameda Central Park; walk out of your door straight to the Palacio de Bella Artes and the National Museum of History.

As homage to its age, the hotel houses a popular restaurant called 1620, which offers a superb fusion of Haute Mexican and contemporary cuisine. For those who fancy a drink, the hotel has a rooftop bar - El Cielo de Cortés - with stunning views of the city.
