El Estribo

El Estribo, translating as 'The Stirrup' is a luxurious and characterful bar located in La Hacienda de los Morales - a 16th century building containing numerous restaurants and bars. In the Hacienda you can also find a decadent restaurant that serves gourmet Mexican food - have a traditional feast here before you head to El Estribo for an apertif. The building also contains 12 private dining rooms and two other bars.

Yet out of all of these options, El Estribo reigns supreme: a stunning room filled with old antiques and lots of old world charm. The floor is lined with red plush carpets and the walls are carved from wood. Come here not for your usual wine, beer or cocktail order but, naturally, for the tequila. Over 300 varieties are offered here, stacked up in full glory above the spectacular teak bar - enjoy it with some of the traditional live music that's played here in the evenings.
