Bar Tomate

Mexicocity

Spanish

Bar Tomate is located on the second floor of Louis Vuitton in the heart of Polanco, the buzzing commercial and entertainment sector of Mexico City. The interior is upmarket and stylish with a dark wood panelled entrance leading into the spacious dining room, decorated with swanky furnishings of a New York vibe and often crowded with its fashionable clientèle.

As Bar Tomate is very popular, it is recommended to book a table at least two days in advance. Upon arrival, enjoy a drink at your table while waiting for your food - the Tequilas and dirty martinis are recommended. For starters, order the prosciutto and cheese plate and a glass of wine from the extensive wine list to complement the rich flavours. There are many delicious main course options, but the the highlights are the Osso Bucco style meat and dried tomatoes coca. For dessert, enjoy the refreshing lime sorbet.
