Villa Maria
Mexicocity
With some delicious Mexican delights on the menu, such as tortillas, chorizo, guacamole, and a huge range of steaks, Villa Maria is truly authentic. The restaurant prides itself on its lively traditional atmosphere, with trio music and roaming mariachi musicians playing throughout the day and evening. The 'dichos' (jokes and quips about Mexican life) adorning the walls are an amusing touch, and certainly make for interesting reading.
What Villa Maria is most famous for, however, is its renowned margaritas, which come in eight different flavours and are absolutely enormous! (One is big enough for two if you want to remember your evening!) It is possible to ask for the small size, however.
The restaurant also has some delicious desserts on offer, or if you prefer something stronger, there are the famous Mexican tequila mezcales, complete with the worm at the bottom of the bottle, if you're feeling brave.
Don´t forget to ask for a tamarindo margarita
