Directions to EcoBici
EcoBici is a bicycle system situated around Mexico City which allows you to rent out bikes on a prepaid card, much like in other big cities like London and Paris. Here you need to buy an RFID card which gives you access to the bikes.
EcoBici is the seventh largest system of its kind in the world, boasting an impressive 90 stations with 1,200 bikes available. However you do need to be a resident of the area (and offer proof), so this is something for expats to make use of, but tourists may have to find other means of travelling by bike. If you fancy trying it out before making a bigger commitment you'll probably prefer a temporary subscription to the service, which you can do here. The bikes are available all the time, though customer services are available as follows:
Monday - Friday: 9am - 6pm
Saturday: 10am - 2pm
