Directions to Foro Cultural Coyoacanense (Hugo Argüelles)
The Coyoacanense Cultural Forum was built by instructions of Mexico's Federal Government in 1977. It is located right behind Coyoacan's Government Building. It has beautiful gardens where you will be able to find great sculptures and fountains, such as the fountain of the Wave which has a bronze sculpture representing a woman emerging from a big wave (a creation of Fidias Elizondo). It is venue of many independent and experimental plays as well as musicals, many of them for free! It also hosts workshops, conferences and many other cultural activities. Inside the building, there are murals picturing different scenes of Mexican history
