The National Museum of Cultures is located in the heart of Mexico City's downtown, in a historical building standing just beside the National Palace. This majestic building will leave you breathless from its very entrance with its huge wooden gates and its 80 square meters mural painted by Rufino Tamayo.
In its three main rooms and other spaces, it hosts a vast collection of objects and art that come from the national and international cultures, as this venue is dedicated to education about the world's cultures. It also has an impressive library called Pedro Bosch Gimpera, which preserves more than 5 thousand books of history, archeology and many other topics. Best thing: you can see all of this for free!
